Mateco announces the acquisition of the company Panrental S.A

28 August, Mateco, rnternational leader in the rental of lifting machinery,bought 100% of Panrental’s shares., company of Meifus Holding and Latam Rental. Panrental, with a turnover of more than 5 million dollars in Panama, has close to 300 units and more than 20 employees;

Mateco’s international division, located in Luxembourg, has more than 30,000 machines and 2,800 employees in more than 100 branches in 15 countries; Panrental, founded in 2012, specialising in the rental of construction machinery in Panama, has worked on significant projects such as the expansion of the Panama Canal and the expansion of Tocumen Airport;

Isaac Alvarez (CEO Meifus Holding) and Juan Carlos Pelaez (CEO Latam Rental) expressed their pride in the growth of the business in Panama and the transfer to Mateco; Carlos Jordà, CEO of Mateco in Spain, highlighted the prestige of Panrental, while Laurent Planche, Operations Director of Mateco in Panama, enthusiastically welcomed the Panrental team;

With this acquisition, Mateco advances in its strategic plan in Panama, consolidating its position as a leader in the elevation sector in the country;
